i find the sysba/'ynmar comment in chapter 3 by Pariah to be odd, only because your sex doesnt = your pronouns. otherwise, i am super enjoying the game so far
I actually think this case is special, because if they're a shapeshifter, sysba absolutely can just *snap* and bam, their sex aligns with their pronouns.
I'm in love with this demo, especially Sysba and Dreamwalker! I have a question though, does the dream you get is in random or there's something that triggers it? What I go so far is the one at the ocean, the carnival and the hotel, are there more??
Hi! Thank you for your kind words! The dream is triggered depending on the word you click :) so 'What' will lead to one dream, 'Dream', will lead to another dream, and so on! There's a cabin in the woods, the ocean, the carnival, and the hotel!

So, I'm on Operator's route and I'm in The Labyrinth. I'm stuck on the riddle: "What's black, white and red all over?" It's a newspaper. I've put them in the input field multiple times. I've tried a newspaper, A Newspaper, newspaper, Newspaper, etc.. and still it keeps going back to the buzzing and stating that it's not correct. That's the answer to the riddle.... HALP!
Finished the demo on Sysba's route- AMAZING! The plot summary alone made me want to play, but once I saw we could romance an eldritch god I was SOLD. Brilliant worldbuilding, loved your sense of humor, appreciated the Mean Girls reference 😉 My only complaint right now is the (occasional) long transitions.
Will other characters get art like Gasper? It was cool and I liked the way you implemented it where the snake is, but I was a little confused since he's just a side character (so far?).

Hello! Thank you for the compliment! I'm sorry you're having difficulties with your saves. Depending on the browser you're using, you may need to clear cache and see if that works, or test the game on another browser!
Hi! The original commentor might be referring to the itch.io application. You can download and run the game that way, but saves are broken for me, too, if I do. I imagine there IS a fix, since I've played quite a bit of IF through the itch app without issue, but I'm not sure what it is. Sorry for not having a better idea about what to do, but I hope letting you know might help a little bit? Either way, love the story!!

Might I suggest the ability to turn the glitchy text off (like when deadlock talks to you in your head)? From an accessibility standpoint (for me personally, can't say for anyone else) it's kinda hard on the eyes and gives a slight headache.
Other than that, this story is very captivating and I'm looking forward to seeing more!
I just finished a play-through and my god I am so invested! Midway through the play-through I was invested enough to sketch my MC. I love all the details, the little memory work required, the fairytale, the foreshadowing. I also like how the development of the story and relationships don’t feel rushed at all.

I only noticed a few typographical errors. Also, I’m not sure if it’s a bug but right after unlocking Suha in relationships, she disappears from the list again until the end of the game.
The amount of content and development is great. I started playing this a couple of weeks back and have slipped back in on my time off.
My two main complaints are similar.
I don't like how often the default (only) response is awkward, self-deprecating humor MC. I'd much rather play my MC as self-assured, but he is often forced into the "loveable goofball" scenes.
I also wish my job choice of Doctor seemed to have any actual purpose. I spent time reviewing the options in my head before selecting one for my MC, and it doesn't seem like my choice has mattered.
The story, world, and NPCs are all amazing. I just wish my MC felt like more MY MC.
Regarding the complaints, I'm not too sure if you've been on the dev blog or not, but I do emphasize that the career choice is most valuable come chapter 6. There is flavor text existing throughout the game right now for your career, but because of the way the story is it just hasn't had a chance to shine right now. It's a very slow moving story 😅
Your other point about the MC has been mentioned by others and is something I'm trying to take into consideration for future updates.
Oh awesome! I'm going through now and doing what I think my MC would do, but later on I'd like to go through and see all other options as well and what decisions lead to where. Lol
My only gripe is that some transitions seem bit too long. Like the Dreamwalker introduction, unless i missed something, you couldn't skip the glitchy messages.
Hi! Thanks for your kind words! I'm working on trying to find the right pacing for transitions, but unfortunately I also need to take into account that people may have different reading speeds, so I can't make things too fast. Once I figure out a good speed it should be more workable :)

If you click the plus sign by Attollo, there should be a section that says 'saves'. Click that and click an empty slot :)

i mostly chose the options related to sysba, when you arrive at atollo. go up the city and then you'll have your first interaction with him.
When you try to check your relationship with Gasper, it says "error file not found"

It's case sensitive! The answer should just be:
Newspaper
No comma or quotations!

The intention is to get art of other characters (RO's, Abyssal, Helios, Deadlock, etc) who will be key players :) thank you for all your kind words!!

This story had me by the throat. I could hardly bear to step away. I felt genuine terror during Dreamwalker’s lovely appearance. Very well written.
